Mit der IHG Milestone Promo können Mitglieder des Bonusprogramms der InterContinental Hotels Group bei Hotelaufenthalten in IHG Hotels & Resorts bis Ende des Jahres 10.000 IHG Punkte für jeweils zehn getätigte Übernachtungen sammeln. Nach 40 Nächten gibt es nochmals 20.000 Punkte zusätzlich. Die Bonuspunkte gibt es für beliebig viele Nächte, sodass in Summe bis zu 380.000 Bonuspunkte im Laufe des Jahres gesammelt werden können.

Die Aktion könnte simpler nicht sein und kommt ohne große Ausnahmen und Einschränkungen aus. Für jeweils zehn im Aktionszeitraum getätigte Übernachtungen gibt es 10.000 IHG Punkte zusätzlich. Nach insgesamt 40 Übernachtungen gibt es zudem einmalig 30.000 Punkte.
Auch Aufenthalte, die nur eine Nacht umfassen, können für die Aktion angerechnet werden. Entscheidend ist nur die Gesamtzahl getätigter Übernachtungen im Aktionszeitraum vom 01.01.2021 bis 31.12.2021. Der Bonus kann zudem beliebig oft erhalten werden. Da sich der Aktionszeitraum auf ganz 2021 beläuft können in Summe maximal 380.000 IHG Punkte gesammelt werden.
Die Aktion setzt keine vorherige Registrierung voraus, allerdings müsst ihr laut Terms & Conditions für die Aktion eingeladen worden sein. Die Einladung sollte in eurem IHG Rewards Club Account unter “Messages” zu sehen sein.

A Qualifying night is defined as a minimum 1-night stay booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding $30 per night. Qualified nights do not include any promotional qualifying night bonuses or rollover qualifying nights. If a member’s stay starts before January 1, 2021 or extends beyond December 31, 2021, member will only receive the points for nights stayed during the Offer Period. Only one room per member per Qualifying Stay will be eligible. If more than one member checks into the same room, only one member is eligible for the Offer. Wir setzen den Wert eines IHG Punktes mit ca. 0,5 Cent an. Eine zusätzliche Gutschrift von 10.000 Punkten hat damit einen Wert von in etwa 50 Euro. Da diese nach jeweils zehn Nächten erzielt wird, ermöglicht euch die obige Aktion einen durchschnittlichen effektiven Rabatt in Höhe von 5 Euro pro Nacht. Oder anders formuliert: Eine (zusätzliche) Freinacht in einem Hotel der niedrigsten Kategorie, welche für 10.000 Punkte buchbar ist, erhaltet ihr im Rahmen dieser Aktion nach 10 Nächten. Die Aktion setzt damit aus unserer Sicht keinen besonders starken Anreiz in den kommenden Monaten bei IHG zu buchen. So bietet Hilton mit der Hilton Honors Points Unlimited Aktion beispielsweise eine doppelt so hohe und doppelt so wertvolle Bonus-Gutschrift.
