Anders als bei Buchungen über klassische Online-Reisebüros sammelt ihr bei einer Buchung über meilenoptimieren Hotels weiterhin alle Status- und Prämienpunkte. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle IHG One Rewards Mitglieder mit einem aktiven Konto. Der Aktionszeitraum läuft vom 1. Oktober bis 31. Dezember 2025, die Registrierung ist bis zum letzten Tag des Aktionszeitraums möglich. Ab dem zweiten Aufenthalt sammelt ihr doppelte, ab dem dritten Aufenthalt dreifache Punkte, allerdings ausschließlich auf die Base Points. Insgesamt können maximal 70.000 Bonuspunkte gutgeschrieben werden. Diese zählen nicht für den Elite-Status.
Wir setzen den Wert eines IHG Punktes mit etwa 0,5 Cent an. Bei einem Beispielaufenthalt von einer Nacht zu 100 US-Dollar mit einer regulären Sammelrate von 10 Punkten pro US-Dollar würdet ihr 1.000 Base Points erhalten. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt kommen durch die Promo weitere 1.000 Punkte hinzu, sodass ihr insgesamt 2.000 Punkte erhaltet. Ab dem dritten Aufenthalt erhaltet ihr sogar 2.000 zusätzliche Punkte, also insgesamt 3.000 Punkte.

Reguläre Punkte & StatusvorteileEin qualifizierender Aufenthalt muss mindestens eine Nacht in einem teilnehmenden IHG Hotel umfassen und zu einer qualifizierenden Rate gebucht werden. Pro Nacht müssen mindestens 30 US-Dollar (oder der Gegenwert in Landeswährung) ausgegeben werden. Buchungen mit Punkten, Points & Cash oder über Online-Reisebüros wie booking.com und expedia.com sind ausgeschlossen. Hier ein Ausschnitt der Teilnahmebedingungen der Aktion:
“To participate in the ‘Up to 3X’ Promotion (the ‘Promotion’), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account and must register for the Promotion. Members can pre-register for this Promotion starting 16 September 2025 until 30 September 2025 (the ‘Pre-Registration Period’). Members will be able to stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion beginning on 1 October 2025 and ending on 31 December 2025 (the ‘Promotion Period’). Members who did not register during the Pre-Registration Period may register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period. A member can only register once. By registering for the Promotion, a member accepts these terms and conditions.
After registering for the Promotion, a member can earn 2X bonus points beginning on their second qualifying stay and 3X bonus points beginning on their third qualifying stay and each qualifying stay thereafter, for a maximum of 70,000 bonus points total during the promotion period. For the purposes of this Promotion, a ‘Qualifying Stay’ is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local currency equivalent) for each night. As stated, the ‘Promotion Period’ is from 1 October 2025 until 31 December 2025. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion are also not included. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points + Cash are not Promotion-Eligible Qualifying Stays for the purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion. If more than one member who registered for the Promotion checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of a qualifying room night under the Promotion.
For the Up to 3X Promotion, earning ‘2X’ or ‘2X points’ on your second qualifying stay before 31 December 2025 means the total number of regular ‘base points’ and promotional ‘bonus points’ combined will equal two (2) times the base points the member would normally receive just for being an IHG One Rewards member. For example, for a one-night Qualifying Stay with a room rate of $100.00 USD at an IHG hotel with an earn rate of 10 points per USD for base points, the member would earn 1,000 base points (10 points x $100 USD = 1,000 points) and an additional 1,000 promotional bonus points, for a total of 2,000 points. Earning ‘3X’ or ‘3X points’ on your third qualifying stay and each stay thereafter until 31 December 2025 means the total number of regular ‘base points’ and promotional ‘bonus points’ combined will equal three (3) times the base points the member would normally receive just for being an IHG One Rewards member. For example, for a one-night Qualifying Stay with a room rate of $100.00 USD at an IHG hotel with an earn rate of 10 points per USD for base points, the member would earn 1,000 base points (10 points x $100 USD = 1,000 points) and an additional 2,000 promotional bonus points, for a total of 3,000 points. The promotional bonus points under this Promotion are calculated based solely on the base points the member is eligible to earn for a Qualifying Stay just for being an IHG One Rewards member, and any Elite status bonus points or any other bonus or promotional points the member may be eligible to receive for the same stay are not included. Bonus points earned through this Promotion are not Elite status qualifying under the IHG One Rewards programme. For instance, in the first example above, the 1,000 base points would qualify for Elite status, while the additional 1,000 promotional points would not. In the second example, the 1,000 base points would qualify for Elite status, while the additional 2,000 promotional points would not.

Ab dem dritten Aufenthalt sorgen dreifache Punkte für solide Zusatzwerte, insbesondere bei günstigeren Raten mit hoher Punkte-Rendite. Achtet auf direkte Buchungen (ggf. über meilenoptimieren Hotels mit exklusiven Vorteilen), eine rechtzeitige Registrierung und das 70.000-Punkte-Limit, um das Maximum aus der Aktion herauszuholen.
