Zum einen betreibt das Vielfliegerprogramm ein eigenes Hotelportal, welches in Zusammenarbeit mit Rocketmiles angeboten wird, zum anderen können für Hotelbuchungen über die Rocketmiles Webseite LifeMiles gesammelt werden. Mit wie vielen Meilen ein Aufenthalt vergütet wird kann sich abhängig vom Buchungsweg unterscheiden. Wollt ihr den 100% Bonus erhalten, müsst ihr über das LifeMiles Hotelportal buchen. Eine kurze Probebuchung zeigt, dass sich durchaus einige sehr gute Deals machen lassen. So gibt es für einen 3-tägigen Aufenthalt im Regent Berlin im 28.600 LifeMiles bei Gesamtkosten von 1.347 Euro (449€/Nacht). Statusinhaber bei LifeMiles erhalten sogar 32.100 Meilen.
Setzt man einen Gegenwert von ca. 1 Cent pro Meile an, entspricht die Gutschrift von 28.600 Meilen einem Gegenwert von 286 Euro und damit einem indirekten Rabatt von 21%. Natürlich solltet ihr euch zusätzlich versichern, dass das Hotel über andere Anbieter nicht günstiger ist.
LifeMiles Hotels Aktion – Fazit
Die programmeigenen Hotelportale von LifeMiles & Co. können immer wieder mal sehr attraktive Konditionen für die Buchung von Hotels bieten. Das gilt insbesondere während Aktionen, die viele tausend Meilen zusätzlich versprechen. Natürlich sollte der Preis dabei immer mit anderen Hotelbuchungsportalen verglichen werden, um sicherzugehen, dass das Hotel nicht auf anderem Wege deutlich günstiger buchbar ist. Grundsätzlich kann ein Aufpreis angesichts der Meilengutschrift aber auch gerechtfertigt sein. Seid ihr bereit LifeMiles zum Preis von 1 Cent/Meile zu “kaufen”, ist bei einer Gutschrift von 10.000 Meilen beispielsweise ein Aufpreis von 100 Euro gerechtfertigt. Hier heißt es im Einzelfall nachrechnen und dann entscheiden, ob sich die Buchung über das LifeMiles Hotelportal lohnt.
