Als erste Airline weltweit hat Etihad sämtliche ihrer Piloten und Crewmitglieder gegen das Corona-Virus geimpft. Legt man das gesamte Personal der Airline zugrunde haben immerhin 75% aller Angestellten mindestens eine Impfdosis erhalten. Etihad übertrifft damit die Zielvorgabe der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate bis Ende März mindestens die Hälfte der Bevölkerung zu impfen.
