Qantas wird in den kommenden Wochen und Monaten eine Reihe an Sonderflügen zu beliebten australischen Reisezielen anbieten. Die unter der Bezeichnung “Scenic flights to somewhere” beworbenen Flüge verbinden Rundflüge mit einem kurzen Aufenthalt am Ziel. So wird der erste Flug am 05.12.2020 insgesamt 110 Passagiere von Sydney nach Uluru im Herzen Australiens befördern. Das Angebot umfasst dabei ein Champagner Frühstück am Flughafen und Vorbeiflüge in niedriger Höhe für den Sydney Harbour, sowie Uluru und Kata Tjuta. Vor Ort ist eine Übernachtung im Sails in the Desert Resort geplant. Die Flüge kosten 3.999 AUD (ca. 2.400 EUR) in der Business Class und 2.499 AUD (ca. 1.500 EUR) in der Economy Class.
