Vietnam Airlines hat bei Boeing einen Auftrag für 50 Boeing 737 MAX abgegeben und will mit diesen Flugzeugen ihre Kurzstreckenflotte modernisieren. Bislang setzte die Fluggesellschaft auf der Kurz- und Mittelstrecke auf die Airbus A320-Familie.
